Date Posted: 14:24:10 03/15/04 Mon The passage of time was marked by the tides, the frothy waves sweeping in to clear the beach of any debris and wash away all traces of footprints. But what footprints had been made? Alone, the mare stood on the beach, her heavy frame resting in the shadow of a large cliff. Raven tresses swept against her dove gray flanks, mainly out of habit but possibly just for something to do. Nothing new, nothing new.... Sighing in disgust, the iron maiden turned from the waves, carefully making her way up the steep path to the herd's grazing lands. Pebbles jostled their way toward the beach, dislodged by her ebonite hooves. Soon enough, she ascended the final crest to overlook her home. Shock rippled through her as a familiar form was spotted, one she had thought she'd never see again. Daring to lift her visage, she emitted a clarion call of welcome, hoping against hope that the heat hadn't gotten to her. [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |

Date Posted: 20:20:58 03/18/04 Thu It wasn't her imagination after all, her only friend had returned. Tossing her intermingled locks from her gaze, the femme allowed a rare smile to grace her labrums. The smile changed her, breaking the stern mold that usually covered her features and betraying the beauty that lay beneath. .:Hello:. she replied simply, her ashen nares quivering to capture his scent. It had been some time since she had seen him last and his absence had been keenly felt. Elven wasn't a social creature so friends were few and far between for the grulla goddess. Those that she possessed were held tenaciously to her, never to escape the bonds of comraderie. .:And where have you been?:. she asked teasingly, though the answer mattered little. All that mattered was that he had returned and that thought alone was enough to prompt the mare to nuzzle the stallion's cheek. [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |

"I was thinking." .his soft ashen labrums parted slightly, letting the words draw themselves smoothly from inside.he had been worried for her, with the war and all that had been going on, although he knew she could care for herself. "The war...what has been happening?" [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |

Date Posted: 08:21:13 03/31/04 Wed ooc: *growls* it won't post for me! Amusement glittered in her dark orbs, revealed as her tilting cranium shifted her locks away from the fae's features. .:Did you reach any profound conclusions?:. she asked, her voice lilting in a teasing manner. However, all joking was put aside as the war was brought to the forefront. .:I'm completely in the dark:. This confession forced a sigh from the iron maiden, her grulla bodice lifting slightly. .:My mother remains a captive of Adrian...I think:. A grimace contorted her features, evidence of the frustration and anxiety that simmered beneath her usually unreadable surface. [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |

Date Posted: 10:30:46 04/12/04 Mon The grulla dame nodded in agreement with his suggestion, her eyes focused on some point on the distant horizon. .:I believe that my brother is challenging for her:. she replied, her voice somewhat detached. Hex was battling Adrian and it wouldn't be an easy match. She only hoped that her brother came out on top. [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |

Date Posted: 08:25:05 04/14/04 Wed His inner turmoil was witnessed by the mare, her features impassive. She knew what it was to wrestle with thoughts, emotions, and urges so she let the battle rage without interruption. As words were uttered from his lips, she tilted one thorn in his direction, her banner idly flicking against tarnished flanks. The desperation in the voice of the stallion was almost tangible, forcing Elven to meet his gaze. However, his question nearly floored her. Where had that come from? .:I'm sorry...:. she murmured, her chiseled features swaying in a negative manner. .:While I find you to be a cherished friend, I'm afraid that my feelings do not extend beyond that:. Now wasn't this odd? Here she had been planning on spending her life alone and suddenly she was faced with a proposal. An unexpected proposal at that. The vixen studied his features, praying that she hadn't hurt him. [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |
