Can confirm Maudi Darrell died 31/10/1910 aged 28 of Osteomyelitis (not appendicitis)after a long and painful illness (death certificate verified). Gaynor Rowlands died 18/07/1906 aged 23 of heart failure, 6 days after an iinitially successful appendix operation. Both these and Maie Ash died 13/12/1923 aged 35 after "a long and painful illness" are featured in my published article "They Died Before Their Time" in October 2006 "Picture Postcard Monthly". Mag has website and back copies can be ordered.
