Subject: Last night

Lots of very upset and angry supporters at Macc last night.
We made them look world beaters for most of the game.
What happened to the passing game we're supposed to play???
There was nothing wrong with the pitch or the weather.

The thing is, we have a team without leadership and without the ability to communicate (apart from the odd shouting match AFTER something has gone wrong)

Gilks : good young keeper who badly needs a rest and some help in how to command his area.

Simpkins: seems oblivious to danger and lacks passion. Also his mistakes are costing us a goal nearly every game. GET RID NOW

Evo; tries so hard but can't do it all on his own, played OK until his bad error led to their equaliser.

Burgess ; ditto Evo

Griff; where do you start?? looks like he's never played footy in his life at the moment. BIG LIABILITY : GET RID

Mc Clare; feel sorry for him; no support at all from defence or other midfielders last night.

Brannan: Dear oh dear!!! Shambles. He is one LAZY BASTARD and should not play for us again.Not fit to wear the shirt.

Bertos: drifted in and out of the game but largely poor.

Shuker: Not as good as first few games, but only one with genuine pace and desire. Took goal well

Evil; looked out of sorts again; far better when coming on as sub (but why???)

MAC Tried hard and set up goal almost single handed.

Subs; Made little or no impact.

Overall; possibly the worst team performance since we lost 6-0 at home to Plymouth in early 70's (and there have been some shockers)

I never thought I'd say it but that was worse than anything I saw under Barrow or Simmo.

The players should be made to watch a video of the whole match and charged �11 for the priviledge. Then sent on a very long run indeed!!!!

PS I also went to the reserves today and whilst they were somewhat fortunate to win, I saw more skill, passion and committment from them than any of the first-teamers.

The bad news is that Taff was poor in nets and the game completely passed by Strachan for long periods.
Grand and his partner at centre back had very good games and they were up against a very good player.

Some serious soul searching needs to be done by AB and TF before Sat because a good team would have scored ten against us last night. 2-1 flattered us!!!!
