Just seems a little stand-offish till you get to know her. He's really nice, too, again, once you get to know him/them.

I totally disagree! Chris has sown his wild oats in the past. But I feel he is madly in love with wife Tara and has settled down and given up his wild ways.
He really is a decent, nice guy once you get past the cockiness and bravado and get to know him. Also not as dumb as he acts.
From someone who knows him pretty well from his time with MS Sea Wolves.

Chica, was that sarcasm, or were you supporting my statement? Just wondering, not trying to be mean.
Chris really is a nice guy, and has other ambitions besides pro hockey. He's thinking ahead, not just living in the ECHL dream world of going NHL. Altho he is very good and has a wicked slap shot!
We're all hoping he'll come back to the Mississippi Sea Wolves along with Travis Lisabeth when our arena is cleaned up from the Katrina mess. He was def. a fan favorite!
