Chillers aren't in, there's a work order to fix them. They haven't tested the pipes yet in the flooring, and monster trucks put holes into the floor. The zamboni wasn't refurbished and they haven't purchased a new one yet. They are looking for a specific kind for that. The locker rooms aren't fully refurbished yet either. There's still a LOT of work to do before the season gets started. Don't look for them to start until mid-november at home. This is straight from someone in the office staff I spoke to two weeks ago.
Maybe we spoke to different staffers because the ones I spoke to said it was all done. But....they were trying to get me to renew season tickets ;)
Anyway, I do know for sure the contract has been signed and the team will be back in time for first Face off! But like you said, may be their first 10 games or so will be away games. Dang, I just want, no NEED, some live hockey!
