Vulva cancer is rare but unfortunately vulva dysplasia is becoming more common. There is no standard screening for vulva HPV and most often we bring little bumps and discoloration to our doctor�s attention.

I know the gals on the private Gyn-Gals site can help you with all the emotional issues you are now facing.

I have been through the VINlevels,CIS,a skinning vulvectomy and finally a radical vulvectomy. If I can be of any help just ask. When I was searching the I-net for info on a radical vulvectomy most of the information I found was outdated. Most of the old techniques and patient experiences were quite scary. I found the real experience to be dramatically different than anything I had read. Much better!

Hopefully, you may only need "minor' surgery. Although, I have found any surgery in the vulva area mentally distressing, usually when I checked for healing and to make sure no infections. If you need any information, please stay in contact with the gyno gals or contact me by my e-mail. I wish i had found this site earlier than just a couple of months ago. It has lots of information. Myra is an incredible source of information. I find the more information I know the better I feel. Also, having information before visiting your doctor is a great help. Your doctor is more likely to realize you are an informed patient then provide you with more information.
