Hi Jenna, first I am new here,I was dx with endro ca in 2005 and am currently NED. I am also a retired Hospice nurse, but I want to make clear I am not giving medical advice but just advice from past experiences. I would really listen to your mom. You do need a onocol/gyn for your doctor. It is very important so you can get the proper care. Your doctor you have now is probably good but he isnt trained in the field you need. An Onocol/gyn has has exstenstive training, experience with the gyno cancers. Keep us up to date on it.
I will keep you in my prayers, Lisa T
