my right kidney measure 9.1 x 4.13 cm with cortical thickness of 1.59 cm. while the left kidney meassures 9.8 x 4. 78 with corticalthickness of 1.69 cm. Both shows increased echotexture more in the left. The corticomedullary bodies are intact. tne renal sinus echoes are normal. No stones nor signs of hydronephrosis noted. There is 2.38 x 1.96 x 1.79 cm hypoechoic structure at the mid portion of the left kidney probably cortical cyst. What could be the possible cause of this.
