Hey there everybody! Just Doug here... from cold East Tennessee and the Great Smoky Mountains! I hope everybody had a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year! I am quite sure 2008 will be a great year and I am excited about it! I talked to Donna and Richard on the phone today. Donna it sure was great to hear your voices again! I am looking forward to the 2008 State Pageant in Natchitoches again! It was a beautiful town.. the land looks a lot like home here in Morristown, Tennessee, although we do have the mountains... Louisiana is a beautiful state and I will always call it my summer home away from home.. It is a magical place to me, as I have some very fond memories down there that mean a lot to me...Anyway, I want to also take a moment to mention one thing...God! Everybody, please take a moment to appreciate your family and the things you have that are closest to you..it can all be taken away from you in the blink of an eye...things can change in a heartbeat.. Anyway, let's all make 2008 a great year! I look forward to seeing you all again. I have been looking at your photos online and seeing all the fun stuff... everyone dressed up for Christmas and celebrating..enjoying everyone's company! Anyway, enough of the mushy stuff... back to work... The dvds and my little photo discs will be the same price as last year..As I sit here typing, I forgot to mention a little thing about 2007!! 2007 was a different type of year for me. It had it's ups and downs like everyone else I guess. But I would like to invite you all to please, if you are a music lover as I am... Please take the time to go online and find the song titled "Miracles" by Air Supply... This song will really let you see just how important life really is and it will enable you to see just how important and POSSIBLE Miracles really are! It really changed my outlook on life.
