Subject: 2007 Louisiana Cinderella State Pageant

Hello there everybody! Just Douglas McKinney here with Magic Moments Video Service. I am finally getting to write on the message board! It took me a couple of days to get caught up from the trip. I want to personally congratulate all of the new 2007 Louisiana Royalty! Way to go!! Also, I want to congratulate every single contestant that participated in the pageant. You are all WINNERS! It was so good to see everyone again! It was also great to see all of the new faces to the Louisiana Cinderella Program! Everyone welcomed me right into your family! I hope that I got to talk to everyone..... I know that I may not have gotten to, but I really tried. Special thanks to Mrs. Mae for arranging my lunch on Sunday.. I had me some of that good ole cajun food!! YUM YUM! I must say that the town of Natchitoches was so beautiful! I had never been to that part of the state before. The dvd's turned out so good!! The pageant filmed well as it always does. I will get the dvd's out in the mail within 3-4 weeks. The photos I took also turned out great! There are some real funny ones along with the great photos of the contestants in their outfits and also at the parties! When you get your photo discs, be looking for some extra photos that I think you will find to be very special. There are some photos that I have taken over the years and that are very special to me. I have been with Cinderella since 1994 and have travelled to the various states to do the videos for the State Pageants. I look at each trip as a special trip and also as a way for me to experience everything that life has to enjoy. If there is one thing that Cinderella has taught me over the years, is that life is all about relationships and the love of your fellow friend. Cinderella is about teaching young ladies moral values, the achievement of self worth, good self esteem, and the value of FAMILY. Cinderella is all about family! I know I am going on and on, but I feel that I must at least say things when I get them on my mind. Anyway, people, love your children and your family!! Each spring, I look so much forward to coming down to Louisiana. That is the most important thing to me about the Louisiana program is the people! I love you all. You have all been good to me and I look forward to next year already! I really felt at home the other night when I was talking into the microphone giving my thanks to Donna and Allen. Everyone in the room clapped for me.. That meant so much to me. I got choked up and didn't know what else to say!! Anyway.. I know, I know, I am getting all sentimental now.. Ok, Miss Joey. You sing so beautiful. If I were a female, I would love to have your pretty voice! That song you sang brings tears to my eyes every time I hear it! That pretty voice should be on a cd sitting at the top of the billboard charts! Joey, I also have some great photos of you. I wish I would have had more time to talk to you last week.. I was just so busy and you were as well... Andrew, you are going to make a fantastic emcee! I thought you did a wonderful job.. Nicholas, you did a great job with the sound! Richard, way to go with the backdrops and sets for the stage!! They look great on the dvd!! Mrs. Mae.. what else can I say??? I am still laughing from all the stuff we talked about... and yes, you can borrow my little table again next year..LOL! Again, SPECIAL THANKS to Donna and Allen for having me down again this year! I owe you both for everything you have done for me! You are all wonderful people! Ok, I guess I have written enough.. I could keep on typing for another hour... but I won't. One other thing.. for the baby pageant contestants, please email me for the photos...I will be happy to send them to you... I will give them to you because there aren't enough for me to charge you any money for.
