Hi Joe,

Next week, we will be posting an in depth article dealing with this subject. To answer your question, not really. To say that our pets will be raptured is a wonderful thought but there is truly no biblical basis for it. The Bible mentions nothing of animals in the rapture. We know that white horses are up in heaven already, as you mentioned it is found in Revelation 19:14. But if our deceased pets are up there already is something we can hope for (Heb 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. )but truly, we do not know. We know that nothing is too difficult for God and He can breathe life back into our pets someday if He so chooses. We know that someday Jesus will restore all things when He rules and reigns from this earth. Whether this includes restoring back all our pets is something we can hope for and there is nothing wrong with hoping but our hope and focus has to be in Christ Jesus. God's word promises us in 1Cor 2:9, "But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him."

Heb 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
