Vicki smiled grimly and just nodded to Martin's excitement. While he was cleaning, she made her way up the stairs. A single light bulb lit the hallway. To her right was a small bedroom and a bathroom. She peeked into the little bedroom and covered her mouth with a hand. It once belonged to her whenever she came to visit her grandmother. Purple flower wallpaper and lace curtains were now faded and torn.

Across the hall, she peeked into another small bedroom. Ryan. She walked in and fingered the faded green wallpaper. It was his favorite color. Enough ghosts. Vicki told herself and left the room, closing the door behind her.

The final room was larger than the other two. It use to belong to her grandmother. Funny, she could almost smell her perfume. Everything was still in place, from the neatly made queen size bed to the jewelry boxes on the old dresser. Vicki pressed her palms against the dresser and leaned on it while staring at her reflection in the dusty mirror. She cleaned away a small patch of it, just enough to see her green eyes. And she just stared for a long time at the little girl she saw in her grandmother's mirror.
