Tryst blinked and fidgeted for the twentieth time in an hour. Emillia was STILL sleeping. How long did winged people need to sleep anyways?

She shuffled her feet.

They should learn to take from their surroundings better. Other people were sleeping all over the place, a bit borrowed here and there never hurt any of them. Well, maybe those bad people Dad kept locked in the cellar, but they were exceptions.

She stared at Emillia, almost willing her to wake up, but not really. Mom needed sleep a lot, so maybe Emi was the same way.

There was a knock on the door. She almost burst from the chair to answer it, knocking it over in the process.

"Yeah?" She opened it to find Cyrus. "Why're you here?"
