Either way, there was nothing he could do, she was obviously free by his geuss, and if she wanted to stay lost... that was her decision.

If she was dead... there was nothing he could do, and all he was able to do was protect his son Cyrus, and his daughter, Yomi. That also meant protecting Hogoromo while he was at it.

His family came before veangance.
