Tyrsis bowed, formality dictating it, and turned to lead the queen back to her own anti-chamber.

As they entered the room and the door closed, formality dropped and Tyrsis seemed to shrink a little. She was good at acting proud, but for the moment, she couldn't confess to her queen without wanting to cry.
