"Some do love...... some habits do die hard."

Smiling in the darkness she stood back up slowly and walked over to where he leaned, the faint light from outside outlining his form. Wrapping her arms around him she rested her head on his chest before speaking again.

"I heard the fighting going on outside and went to have a peek. I saw Wyrd..... only not the same Wyrd we both knew from before.... and he gave me a bit of assistance in return for something I could do for him."

Catching one of his hands she brought it up to her throat slowly, guiding his fingers over where the collar had rested.

"He removed it. He just hooked one of his claws under it and lifted and it fell away like it was just some cheap piece of tin. And in return..... I ..... Healed a problem he was having. It's..... Without the collar I have back something that I'd not realized I needed, something that was so much a part of me that I hadn't realized how crippled I'd felt when it was gone. The ability to heal is a lot like your ability to see..... without it I didn't feel whole though I knew I could survive without it."

She was rambling a bit.... and part of it was to cover what she'd said when she'd answered him.... she'd said, "Some do love." She hadn't intended to call him love.... though it was the truth. The other part of her rambling was because what she'd said was true, without her ability to Heal she'd felt less than herself and having it restored had filled the aching void it's absence had left.
