Hatred burned in serpent eyes as they scanned the sky and spotted Johan. They heeded not the savior of their mortal enemy, but only this one that screamed about himself power and perception.

"FIRE!"

A tree sized spear shot into the sky, aimed to take Johan out of the clouds and hopefully kill him in one swift blow. They knew not of his ability to hear, or his keen nose.

They were upwind of him, and they didn't even know it.

Nor would he be able to miss the large tree of a spear screaming toward him.

Who uses trees for spears....
