 Seraph…was ready for it. For crying out loud…he was ready if a demon or vampire was to leap out of the shadows at this very moment! He smiled and let Emi strike him, pushing him back a step before scooping her up into his arms. Smiling again he hugged her tight forcing the Black Wind away for now. She need not hear its maddening whispers.

“Hey you! How you been?” he grinned slightly, hugging her tight again. “oh, and you can’t tell anyone that I’m here ok? Promise?” he really didn’t want the whole place to know he was here. It was easier to gather information if people didn’t know that you were here afterall.

In all honesty he had mixed feelings holding his neice. Joy, and sorrow. His blood stained hands did not deserve to hold her…yet he was glad he did. A light in the darkness of his life. He shrugged it away and smiled again…
