"They stopped!" Tryst nudged Trinn as they slowly crept from building corner to building corner, trying to get closer without letting Zenra know they were there. Halfway out of reality, Cyrus shouldn't be able to smell them as well as he'd be able to usually, but Zenra she didn't know about. They didn't have as much experience hiding from the queen. And the gold winged guy, well, he didn't looke remarkably special other than the fact that his wings were really weird.

So were mom's. Good for him. It was only good luck that dad hadn't shown up already. Usually eh would have felt a stunt like that last one and come to make sure they weren't stuck in the dream realm, but then, the last time out he had given them had involved what felt like a few days in the dream realm. That had sucked. The space between dreams was boring and gray, nothing cool like walking in through a dream.

"Hey, want to try and go in the back way? It looks like all the guards are coming out the front door." She pointed at the entrance where someone was exiting. "Wait, that ain't a guard. Sweet, look at those wings!"

And then she flinched.

"Crap, is that Tyrsis behind him?" Tyrsis would be able to see them, no matter how far she displaced them from this plane. "Maybe we should just come out now."
