Kenji's eyes widened, as did the Emperor. Though the latter quickly brought his female companion infront of him even as he dodged aside, letting her take Cyrus's attack directly . All the while the kaeledscopic battle as light and darkness literally continued to combat each other. The very room seemed to shake from the renewed fury of Kenji.
However, their attacks lessened as they both noticed the scroll being taken, and seeing the first finger lift up the parchment. The first runes blazing to light as , despite Tyrsis being careful not to speak the words, were forced from her throat as she unraveled the magical trap laid cleverly within the first words.
The words twisting as a overwhelming and suicidal despair , as the realization of all those that had died for this scroll over the centuries , the sacrifices used to make it as the very nature of the dark magicks contained within made themselves known.
However, a gentle whisper seemed to flow with the words, offering comfort as Kenji moved both physically and mentally against the attack, moving at Icewind similiar speeds as he tried to wrest the scroll away from Tyrsis, while trying to shield her from the psychic attack that could perhaps prove fatal...or put her in a state similiar to cataonia.
Tossing the girl down , The Emperor frowned deeply, as a long shard of light shot forward, the speed and force revealing he was serious now as the air screeched like a hurricane, a thin shard of crystaline light piercing thru Kenji's heel, coming out the otherside and spreading into two prongs that wrapped around his ankle.
Violently throwing the boy across the room before he could wrest the scroll from Tyrsis, even as the wall where Kenji would have hit shimmered out of existance and back in, blinking to allow the boy to fall the hundreds of feet down to his doom , and letting the two prongs slice neatly thru , severing his foot from his body as a splattered of blood was the only evidence of Kenji having been there.
The Emperor only stood there, staring at Tyrsis, Cyrus, and the Two Emillias, his eyes now percieving the ghost girl. A creepy, eerie feeling of some smile somewhere hidden beneath his cowl as he watched them, waiting for the next move.
" Without evil, good stagnates, without good, evil cannot grow. This is the nature of the multiverse. We need enemies...we need rivals, there will never be peace, what you fight for is impossible. Do not make me destroy all of you, leave Tyrsis, and go..or take her with you and experience her pain first hand. I have done my best to protect you , all of you, because of my past feelings...but I will not hestiate to kill you. " The Emperor said, emotionless, passionateless, as he waited.
