Gates. Those, even in mortality, were simple tasks. There was soft murmuring, like a gentle rush of breeze over tall grass. Almost like a cooing. Myuler stopped, aquamarine eyes resting on Morpheus as he just stood there. A chill ran up his spine, and his head turned to the opposite direction. A life gone passed was remembered and gold faded and darkened to a black-green.

It took Myuler a few moments to realize what reached his spine, and he sighed, drawing his fingers over the air in an intricate pattern. A slit of blue energy split the air, and the portal shimmered to show a building in Hogoromo.

"There," was all Myuler said before he looked off into the distance. Then with a simple movement of his hand he cast just spell without words, and he was gone from the divine realm.

He was standing next in the middle of his house, looking around slowly. It was quiet, and still, like it had always been in the past, but now, it seemed more lonely than before.

There was no one else home.
