Cyrus sighed as the cell door closed behind him, and then flopped down on the cot, leaning his head against the bars. All he could think about was the look on the man's face before he realized he was dead.

Johan on the other hand, smirked when he got the report that Aphrodite was eating the body, and grinned when the guard asked, "Shall we try to bring her in, sir?"

"You want to pull a Wyrd-spawn, one that has recently had a litter of wyrdlings, away from a meal? What, were you planning to serve yourself up as a side dish?" Johan asked calmly, knowing full well that Larcia would throw the case clear out of court, especially with no body to prove that a crime was actually committed.

Larcia Kentabolos was a brilliant, if stern, and sometimes loud judge, and that was why Johan liked her as Hogoromo's cheif judge.

She actually had some sense.
