Half the body was gone in under 10 minutes. Everything was eaten. Bones, hair, even the armor. It didn't matter to a creature that could chew through anything. She was so smeared with blood it looked like she had killed the man herself, and it seemed so since she snarled at anyone that even attempted to approach her.

Most of the crowd vacated after the first minute of watching the wyrd tear the corpse apart. Most of them couldn't stomach the sight of it. Even some of the guards turned green and had to leave. Aphrodite didn't realize or care that for there to be a crime, there needed to be proof, and that she was eating it. The only thing on her mind was eat, then go nurse.

There was a gentle scratching as the guard opened the door to the small court house that was adjacent to the jail. The old woman looked up, her curly white hair shiftly gently. Her glasses adjusted with the index finger of her right hand and she waited for the announcement to this otherwise unwanted intrusion.
