Dias stopped beating the glass, and his eyes met Zenra's, and he nodded. His hands pressed to the glass, and he began to focus on getting his legs to work, all the while, smiling through the air mask, although he was getting a touch claustrophobic.

For a moment, the thought crossed his mind that by all rights, being in liquid, he should most resemble a raisin, like when you stayed in the water too long, you got all crinkly.

It crossed his mind to use his empathic abilities to ask her to get him out of the tube, but he realized that after having knocked himself into dream land for eleven years, maybe he should give his empathic powers a rest.

They never seemed to do anything but cause trouble anyway.

One thing was clear though, even to the most disbelieving.

Dias was awake.
