 Something was amiss, at least the guard thought. There was a tense aura about the man, and the guard's eyes narrowed slightly. As the man continued on his hurried whisk away, the guard flagged another guard, gave some hand signals, and pointed toward the retreating form.

The other guard pulled out a whistle and blew. That whistle was reserved for one thing only.

To alert Johan.

A third guard made point to bar the man's path, his spear help horizontally in front of him.

"Whoa there fella. What's the rush?"

Should the man decide to be smart and halt, he'd find two more guards bringing up the rear. The guard he had spoken to, and the guard that had blown the whistle.

If he decided to play rabbit and bolt, they were all the more willing to give chase.
