Dias blinked a little at that single pang of emotion, and felt his own sympathy well up. Regret was one emotion he understood.

The problem was, he needed to know more, but also needed to stop for a moment. "You'll have to pardon me, I need a moment, I'm not entirely recovered yet," he explained, then sat back against the headboard of the bed.

His mind wandered for a moment, to his mental 'mark' on Zenra, and he noticed that she was having real issues at the moment. She was afraid, but unhurt, and there wasn't a battle going on.

A long moment, and a deep breath later, "Show me more."
