Glad you are okay, sis. Trust me on this one, if ANY part of you starts to hurt more than basic whiplash go to the docotor IMMEDIATLY. It took two months for my hip to hurt in my accident, but now it still hurts me and its been almost a year. Don't try to be tough, go in, get it fixed.

As for liability and so forth. If he's found at fault he will likely be court ordered to pay for your damages. If not, but he is found at fault, lawyers are interesting people with a real knack for auto accident claims. Plus they usually (at least in Utah) give free half hour consultations. Nice marketing ploy for them here.

As for the nice guy who helped you. Tell him thanks from the lot of us. Anyone who can take care of my Mari while I'm too far away to do it is considered a nice person. Nice people rarely need anything more than a thank you and a repaid loan, but once this entire thing is over and settled you might want to get him a nice knick knack.

Love ya Marichan, us truck vs car people have to stick together. :)
