The girl that had flung herself into Lashana's lap could only be Yomi. No other child would have pinfeathers along her arms and body or clawed hands. Wrapping her arms around the bawling child she hugged her tight and murmured softly as she held Yomi.

"It's okay I'm back and I am never leaving again. I missed you too."

That last was a lie, she'd lost herself so completely within the Weave that she hadn't been aware of the passage of time and hadn't known she'd been gone for so long. Still it didn't hurt to say it and in a way it was almost true.... but what she'd missed hadn't just been Yomi... She'd missed seeing her grow up, missed her childhood almost completely.
