 The man and girl just kept walking, the girl was uncomfortable here and the man wasn't up to making her angry. They just continued to leave the town, it would take more than polite words and acts of friendship to get any human to trust any Forgotten, much less a Forgotten weapons master. The girl wasn't going to stay, the forgotten had hurt her people in ways that could never be fully mended and she hadn't completely forgotten that.
