"Something's happened to Prophet?" Silverfox's eyes widened, the silver of her hair whipping around her face as she turned and darted from the room, running until she reached the center of the encampment. Skidding to a halt, her breath caught in her throat as she looked around for Prophet, the only one in the entire camp who ahd taken the time to listen to her story. Bothered to notice her. Hadn't smiled with pity and fought the urge to pat the girl on the head.

It wasn't possible. Prophet was like her parents, her siblings... so carved in stone that their images could never be released from it. Something that would never be, could never be, forgotten.

"Prophet?" She didn't care how she looked, fourteen years old and standing in the middle of a warrior's camp, yelling at the stars as though they would answer her. "Prophet!?"

She wanted to cry, but the tears wouldn't come.
