Forbiddion's eyes flashed across her vision, all six gleaming red in anticipation, in a beg for release. A demand for compromise. A forceful wave that...
...the ground trembled and Tyrsis stumbled, a knight catching her arm the only grace that saved her from meeting the pond head on.
"Thank you." She murmered and brushed her hair from her eyes, dark brown curls barely tracing the water as she bent down to drink, as she had intended. Hogoromo was a ghost town, all who had stayed to fight now making their way towards Escalvone.
Kenji's eyes flashed before hers, amber begging, pleading for destruction for release, for understanding through pain. A devil tiger at its finest. The thought was vague, gone before she could truly seek it for comprehension. Destroyed and destraught.
Wyrd stalked the night.
Dawn was breaking on the horizon and Tyrsis shifted the pack across her shoulders, Damuthca's sword gently wrapped and tied to the top of what little she had brought. None of them carried much, anything they might need would be found amongst the Escalvone. Aphrodite was a comfort at her side, even as garnet wings spread wide.
"We need to keep moving. Have there been any replies from the elves, or Jarek's men?" First rays of sunlight touched her wingtips, bathing her face in red as light passed through them. Nothing, everyone to worried about their own, it seemed.
A pinpoint shown through the darkness, brightening, welcoming... then falling black as though tainted fingers had grasped it.
If I asked you to destroy the world for me, would you do it?
I would.
Then I'm asking.
She shook her head, her palm going to it instinctively to releive the sudden pressure. "Something is wrong in Hogoromo. She is going to find something there that we do not want her to find."
If she turned back now, it would seem she was running and Damuthca might never accept the people that came to join with him. Zenra might forever be renounced. For the sake of her people, she could not turn back. For the sake of Zenra's people. In her heart she was once again an outcast.
