Dawnsfire looked after Silverfox as she bolted from the cottage, surprise flickering across her expression. She hadn't expected that reaction from Silverfox, though..... perhaps she should have. The younger girl had spent all night out with the others, perhaps she'd forged a friendship with Prophet. Of course Jarek hadn't confirmed what Dawnsfire had said. Janai might ~not~ be Prophet, though the young Shaman's intutition said that it was very likely that she was. Seraph had remarked on her perceptiveness in seeing the darkness that flowed around him constantly, moving like a restless wind.....

It was that perception that had pushed the Shaman of her clan to take her in as an apprentice at a very young age. Young enough that she gained the title of Shaman by the time she was twenty, six years ago. Amberstar had seen what Dawnsfire could do and knew he'd found the one to pass his knowledge on to and he was one of those the elves had cut down. He hadn't resisted them in the slightest either, he'd been sitting in his meditational garden, surrounded by his flowers and musical waterfountains, by the birds and other small creatures that found his presence soothing. When the elves crashed into his sanctuary they didn't have to look far for him. Amberstar was old and even if he hadn't destested fighting he would not have proven to be a great threat. When Dawnsfire had scryed out the past she'd seen one of the younger looking elves lop off his head, the faint smile that creased the aged shaman's face never faltering even as his head bounced on the bloodstained grass. The elves did that to everyone they could find from elderly to children, men, pregnant women and disabled alike, all faced the same fate of death. It had made her heart bleed when Dawnsfire saw what had happened and it gave her renewed purpose in finding out why and who had ordered it. She'd found a high ranking elf that she recognized, the one who let Silverfox escape even though he had a clear shot at her retreating back. She'd recast the scrying spell and followed him to see what had happened and found that it was by nearly unanimous vote that her people be slaughtered. Looking at Jarek again she spoke softly.

"What did you wish to talk about Jarek? And.... you did not answer my question. Is Janai also called Prophet?"
