The snake watching Dawnsfire and Jarek enter the camp hissed angrily. It could feel the wards and knew that if it passed the perimeter of this camp it would be detected. Sulfur yellow eyes glared after the female human and her companion before turning and slithering back the way it had come, the dry rustling of scales against foliage the only sound it made.
