 Aphrodite trembled now as the pain of the sword that bit her finally took over most of her senses. The large fued of dragons faded from her view, watering eyes rested now just on the sword in her arm, and in her claws. She pushed up on the blade of the sword, cracking the bone more as she unwedged it from her bone and her arm.

The sword struck the ground with a clang, and her bloody paw wrapped around the wound to stave the flow of blood.

The young wyrd whimpered.
