Tyrsis turned away from the window and walked out of the door, finding herself in the living room with the others who had gathered there. For a moment, her gaze met and held each of theirs, soft and sorrowful, a citrine gem still clinging to her cheek.

"Myuler, send word that all incapable of fighting or under the age of seventeen are to be evacuated from Aurora at once. I need those who can planeshift to begin at once, and those who can fight to prepare themselves. Send word in whatever way is necessary. Go behind Damuthca's back if you need to, otherwise, I have his word and am willing to step down to him and accept whatever judgement he gives."

She turned and left the room without explaining, the gem falling on the floor as she left and went back through the door she had come through, once more in a second story room where she could watch in many more ways than one.
