Dawnsfire nodded, his words were understood and she was grateful that they were being given this reprieve. She would help them if that was what they asked of her. She could not, would not force Silverfox however. To help Jarak and his people had to be her choice and Dawnsfire wasn't about to tear that from the young girl.

Dawnsfire looked at Jarek's eyes and felt a chill traverse her spine. She didn't know what had caused such an expression to cross Jarek's face but she hoped it was never directed at her. His gaze reminded her of a wolf she'd seen once, hungry and alone, his amber eyes expressionless as he hunted. It was the gaze of a hunter who allowed nothing to get in his path. Still, she wondered how this "Simple" had managed to clear an entire village without anyone noticing it. Absently it occurred to Dawnsfire that she'd never given the woman her name, yet Simple had known it. Was it another form of magic or had Simple seen her before and knew her from somewhere else? Dawnsfire didn't know..... and she wasn't about to ask. It didn't really matter.
