 Dawnsfire left Silverfox sleeping in the abandoned cabin, letting the poor girl recover as best she could. Outside Dawnsfire paced and thought, her mind trying to make sense of recent events and failing miserably. Kyira and Wyrd had vanished, leaving them completely alone, and without any way to find out why the elves had massacred her clan. Dawnsfire had used some of her shamanic magicks to try and find other humans and failed. If there were any left on the planet they were hiding very well. Looking up at the stars she could feel the faint presence of others, none of them human and tears slowly slid down the young shaman's cheeks. All those people, none of them hers and she felt so terribly alone. Starwind, Amberwing, Jadestar, all of her friends and teachers just......gone. All that was left of a very large clan was Silverfox, all that was left of an entire race were a scattered handful that could be so easily wiped out......and for what? What reason did the elves and forgottens have to slaughter an entire race? Surely her people hadn't committed such a crime to warrent genocide.....had they?
