Emi turned, the dawn of surprise of what happened to her mother still written on her face. She moved over and shut the windows when she saw the bird heading for them, wings ruffling before flight.

"We need to keep her somewhere, so we don't lose her....."

She coralled the swan into a corner and picked up the struggling bird.

Her eyes led to Tyrsis, and the scar on the chest tingled slightly. She had a question to ask, later.

"Tyrsis...I need to talk to you, later."
