As the elvish scout began to report , taking deep steady breathes, a short silver streak went neatly thru his heart, the feathers on the arrow quivering and becoming soaked with his lifeblood.

The last drow assassin smirked, and used the dimension door as he accomplished his quest, even as the Hogoromo guards tried to halt his travel using a dimensional anchor spell that would weave all travel thru the astral null and void.

But he didn't move fast enough, and the drow were gone.
