The stench was irritating, enough that the warrior half of Raaine retained control, the normal, adult half was sick with both the scent of burning bodies and the carnage that had insued. There were cuts, all shallow and irriating but most had stopped bleeding. Her wings, black with orange splashed over it was also covered with splotches of the crimson of fresh blood and the rust red of dried blood. There was a small gash along her cheek that still trickled blood and she absently wiped it away. Looking down a small side street she didn't see Tyrsis until she'd bumped into her. From the look on the Seer's face she hadn't seen Raaine either.

"Sorry. I was checking the streets to make sure the humans hadn't reached the streets. I didn't mean to bump into you."
