After the slaughter was finished there were fewer duergar remaining and their temper was beginning to fray. A younger sounding dwarf spoke, his accent on the common tongue thick.

"We go now. Bring the female if you want but move into the house. Resist and we kill you."

It was obvious that the dwarves would kill him without a second thought, despite the fact that he had just saved most of their lives.
