The duergar who remained fled, choosing to survive rather than remaining to fight the drow they knew were coming. Tiani's little display with flame had alerted the drow and even now they were converging on Kami's location. The last of the deurgar glanced back and shook his head. Such a waste... if he'd gone with them he'd have most likely survived....the drow would most likely slaughter both him and the female. ..... Such a waste.
