His pupils narrowed, stretching outwards.
Silver flames danced, springing to life from the darkness.
And Kami blinked as he watched it infront of him, a short form manifesting infront of him from the source of the flame , black wings stretching outwards like some eclipse, the promise of death within the shadow of that miniature verison of nothingness.
Exploding into a burst of motion , unseen as the silver flame faded from view in that instant, the change of light and dark playing tricks upon the eyes.
The ground infront of Kami seemed to burst with a dustcloud, as one duegar's head decided to snap at the neck, followed by several ribs being sent into the lungs as the mithral armor broke into shattered glass like pieces.
" You...."
Silver flames covered another duegar, making his form writhe from the unmerciful force as it danced into his very essence and judged it. The outward manifestation of this only a smoking from the eyes and mouth.
" Will... "
The ground buckled, twin black wings twirling in a deadly dance across the few duegar left even as Kami gently scooped up Tiani and leaped away from the attack as the wings cleaved into the area, possibly removing what remained of any duegar if they didn't move.
Kami only shuddered, his hands quickly moving to his pack to bandage up Tiani , noticing by the blood flow that he better get to it quick. Yet his attention was barely even on as his hands went thru the motions.
" not touch him..."
The area again exploded into silver flame, as the child like being disappeared within that ball, the fiery tendrils lancing around almost chaotically as they cut off any escape route the duegar may have unless they fled for their very lives.
Darkness resumed, just as sudden as it broke, leaving sweat going down Kami's face, trembling as he bandaged up Tiani.
