The merchant was not in sight, likely taking some of the more delicate wares farther into the thin shelter. Dark curls clung wettly to her face and beads of water dripped from garnet wings. She ruffled them a bit to shake off the excess of water, but left her hair alone. There would be no helping it now, she'd have to buy a brush or something from the merchant when the rain storm ended. A smile touched her lips as she remembered getting caught in a rainstorm with Jin once, what seemed forever ago. Dressed in white, he had wlaked through the weather as though it had not existed and come to put his arma round her. The rain had drenched them, but they had been happy.
