It had been weeks since she'd told Drake about ~her~ past, and how it wasn't the same as the Valenthe he'd known and loved. He'd wept for a long time against her shoulder and she'd felt at a loss for what to do with him. She didn't know how to heal the pain he felt. She didn't recall what had happened after she'd left him, didn't really recall leaving him either. She'd been quiet and withdrawn when she'd returned to Darke, and even now, weeks later she was still quiet. For an immortal time doesn't alway heal....
