rain�rain� rain�

It never stopped! It just kept falling! It made life�oh so boring!

Seraph leapt from rooftop to rooftop, racing along the usual route, circumventing the city. A patrol? Many would say that, but he seldom looked down at the townsfolk. Their lives really didn�t bother him�he hunted for the scent of brimstone and sulfur. Demons�where would they come from? He shrugged it off�a little more than impatient at the fact that nothing had really occurred as of yet. Nothing of course...except the rain.

He skidded to a halt along the rooftop, feet instantly stopping, the constant rivulets of water careening down the slopes of the rooftops lessening his traction, threatening his balance. Well, only slightly. His eyes narrowed as he gazed up into the heavens, ignoring the wrath of the clouds as his body was already drenched afterall. That�s enough�the rain was getting on his last nerve. Slowly, amethyst eyes were eclipsed by his lids.

A little bit of destruction�. A little bit of release.

The whispers leapt into a cacophony..there was permission, even if it was a little bit. Reality warped abruptly. The very fabric of space/time suddenly seeming to implode into the nothingness of a black hole as Seraph smirked. An anomaly inexplicable to any save the few that knew of the power he wielded was formed�and the torrent of destructive force was released.

The sky darkened perceptibly as ribbons of violet energy traced through the air�whipping up vortices in the midst of the town. The Weave struggled to compensate to the sudden shift in balance, but it was to no avail. One thought was released�and it was all that was needed. The torrent of power suddenly leapt upwards�into the heavens, a howling wind so destructive e that even the mightiest typhoon was lighter than the lightest summer breeze. The rain ceased instantaneously as every droplet was consumed�consigned to destruction. The clouds were torn asunder evaporating�.it seemed, only that the clouds would never return to its cycle�simple erasure.

Just as abruptly as it had begun�it was over. Amethyst eyes opened suddenly�the flash of power within them seeming to flare bright enough to shatter the darkness of the deepest alleys�for but a moment� He smiled slightly�and vanished in a miasma of speed.

Where once was clouded rain�was now bright sunshine�.

In moments he appeared at the window of his niece�leaping through it with the ease of a practiced gymnast. It was funny how the suns rays came in behind him�dazzlingly beautiful. The sky�was clear.

�Hey sleepy head. He looked down at Emilia�me thinks you�ve lain around long enough.� He grinned slightly�and acknowledged the others in the room with the slightest of nods. One would barely notice�that his eyes were darker�and that there was one more streak of crimson in his silver hair�
