"Mmm....Uncle."

Emi turned her head, violet gray eyes opened halfway to meet the gaze of her uncle, and she saw, for the most part, the new red streak in his hair, but couldn't see the slightly darker shade in his eyes.

"mmm...Red isn't a good look for you. Reminds me of blood."

She sat up slightly, propping herself up on her arms. The sound of the choir hadn't done much to her, because she had once been there, and had loved it, once, for a brief moment. It effected Zenra though, in a different way. Zenra was sitting on the edge of the balcony, the sound of her brother's voice barely registering behind her. So distant was she, she never saw him, never heard him. She didn't even know he was there. So pensive.

Emi stretched a little, sitting up crosslegged with a cover still over her. Not too fast, she didn't want her food she'd just drunk to reemerge onto the bed and floor. It had tasted really nice. Never did taste the same the second time. Only then did she really notice.

"...what happened to the rain?"
