Are you sure? Have you been on the same day at the Point and Sunset? Point is always 2 times the size or more than Sunset.. Even on a small day when the waves are not impacted by the reef!!

About the swell Angle.. You are right when you talking offshore waves, but near the coast the swell bends inwards to face the cost more.. Also according to your proposed swell direction the influence would be way more radical than I am suggesting. But lets stay to the point. Spot X and Corros are not going to be the same..

Ps On the 7.30 report on ABC yesterday there was a feature on Snapper rocks, one of the best surfing waves in the world. Examples of shifting sand, industry and how the community can work together with the councel. Good to see there is a pro active lifestyle councel somewhere in Australia.. Wake up Geraldton!!!
