(her clothes, other family members' clothes, a tablecloth, drapes, anything?) you can hold in front of her to see how she looks in that color? You can go to a fabric store (for COLOR I like to look in the cotton quilting prints, since the color choices are vast) & narrow it down, but remember there'll be fluorescent lights in there, & it will look different against her skin. Ask if you can take a bolt or 2 right outside the door for a few seconds just to hold up to her & see how it looks....
