原則上，國內出版物都跟新華社頒佈的國語拼音方案，即《世界人名翻譯大辭典》所列的名字。參看德漢拼音方案，"tzi/tsi"音用"青"。不過，就連大出版社都有偏離國語拼音方案的情況發生。所以就有「拉辛格」之譯法吧。
這套翻譯，香港都慢慢採用，勢之所趨。香港以前好似有兩套方案，一套係政府同商台用的，以廣東音為中心。
其實，Pius 在天主教內，是否譯作碧岳？我見有時天主教網都譯作「庇護」（國內同本地新教都多用這個），覺得有點奇怪。

碧岳是台灣譯法.除了碧岳、庇護的譯法外,另一譯法是比約.

其實（中）港台之間的天主教官方有否就教宗之譯名進行定案？（你自己是否用香港譯法教多？）
漢語聖經協會《基督教聖經與神學詞典》第666頁（666？）就給出了一個歷代教宗譯名表，請問是否可信？

我比較喜歡用碧岳.
台灣天主教有其一套譯法.
例如中港兩地的伯多祿,台灣譯法是伯鐸.
